Sarah Rilinger... aka "Coach Sarah"Certified as a Small Boats Instructor through US Sailing, Coach Sarah was raised in the mountains of Virginia and schooled at Virginia Tech. She has been an outdoor enthusiast her whole life and has always had an affinity for water. With an extensive background in whitewater paddle sports, Sarah is trained in swift water rescue, and certified through American Red Cross in First Aid, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. As a Wilderness First Responder and 10 year experienced Lifeguard safety is #1 for her. She teaches Environmental Education and Sailing with local programs and for 7 years has been in the education field. Look for her around Oriental skateboarding with her dog "Allie", performing with fire, or gardening, and if you can't find her there, she's on the water "wetting" her appetite. Sarah's idea of heaven is a place where there is whitewater, waves, and of course... wind.
